The Citadel aka Alcazaba
There is nothing more important than having your own cigars with you on the road. Except a case that protects them well enough. This is where the citadel comes in. The inner case is made out of four layers of leather. It’s very strong and can take a punch or two.

The leather is being soaked in luke warm water for 30 min. The inner and outer case is then molded out of a wooden mold. After 24 or 48 hours depending on the weather outside. It stays and holds the form you see now.

Because of the multiple layers of leather I called it the citadel. Before getting to the cigars itself. you will need to go through enough layers of leather. Multiple walls before breaching.
*side note:
When I was on a holiday with my family in Malaga. We visited an ancient citadel high on top of the mountain. named alcazaba. Beautiful place. To my astonishment this name: Alcazaba means the citadel. This was around the period I was making this case. To me it was clear. Alcazaba was it’s nickname.
